How to change default zoom level

When I hit num Enter on the keypad, it puts me too close to the windshield. I'd like my default zoom level to be a bit further back. How do I change the default zoom level ?

Set zoom and seat position if you prefer and press R ALT +NUM 0. This will save cockpit angles. When you start a mission it will still go to a default zoom level but all you need to do is press zoom normal to start with your saved "default" view. I always have zoom normal and view center bound to quickly get back to my default zoom and looking straight ahead since I dont use VR/ track IR.

Correct me if it's out of date but you used to have to enable it in a text file (later changed to a settings checkbox) before saved angles will function. Saving angles (which includes zoom) is slightly confusing. Remember to press the angles slot key you to write too first before you confirm the camera position. When you press the save angles key it will save to slot you last activated. So make sure you save it in the right slot.
