F15c no control in flaming cliffs

Hi all

 

am new to the world of DCS and indeed flight sims.

 

I purchased flaming cliffs thinking it was better value for money, more planes and only a beginner, but really wanted to fly the F15 as its one of my favourite planes of all time

 

every plane, no problem, my warthog controls the plane fine.....except the F15c, am not sure why. i havent changed anything, but my stick will just not bank or climb/dive

 

any solutions?

 

i do have one other issue in that even when i download DCS direct from the website, it keeps getting linked to Steam, meaning i cannot play FC3, had to delete and re-install 3 times now. but maybe thats for another thread

Hi snout71.

 

You are right: the F-15C module doesn't seem to have default bindings for Roll and Pitch axis. You have to configure them here:

Starting from DCS main menu, click on the cog above, then Controls.

Click on "General" and choose "F-15C" in the list.

Click "All" and choose "Axis Commands".

 

Once you're there, please mind you need to click on the right column to configure your bindings, otherwise you won't be able to. Example: for the Pitch axis, you want to click in the "Joystick" column to map the "JOY_Y" axis. And for the Thust axis, you want to click in the "Throttle" column to map the "JOY_Z" axis.
