[NOT A BUG] SA range switches range on AMPCD as well

Hi,

 

Just wanted to point out a bug when SA page is set to right DDI and AMPCD has map showing. I bound the right DDI button to my HOTAS to quickly change range. However when the map is showing on the AMPCD, everytime I change SA page range (right side) it also changes the AMPCD map range. I’ve checked controls setup and the button is only bound to right DDI so can only think it’s a bug.

It's not a bug I don't think, it's to do with how the map and navigation aspects of the SA are drawn from the HSI. So changing one changes the other.

Yes, HSI, SA and AMPCD all reflect the same range. I have a feeling that's the way it is although I would agree that individual range settings would be useful
