Please ED get rid of that sky overlay thats centered around Polaris.

There is nothing in real life that this overlay simulates.

It gets brighter as the sky gets darker..overexposed misplaced muck spoiling VR.

Seriously ED....3 steps forward with improved night lighting then 2 steps back.:music_whistling:

Edit....noticed this is present in 2d too.

Swirling effect centered around the pole star.

Nothing in real life this overlay simulates.

Absolute garbage!!

+1, as has been requested many times by the VR community. The fact the texture is applied unevenly between left/right eye makes this nausea inducing, effectively preventing nightflying without Mustang's fix.

Just noticed this as well today. I could clearly see that weird overlay like a skydome in the dark within the CV1 (gamma 2.2 as 1.6 makes DCS the Dark Cockpit Simulator at daytime). Also, pretty much the same, there was a black spot mostly around me on the water, but it went only so far and from that point on it was pretty much grayish. Screenshots attached. Be wary of pitch black. Crank gamma up to 11 to see it on a non-OLED and non-CRT monitor.
