Urze, my hat is off to you, absolutely brilliant.

Firstly congrats on the site, products etc.

secondly,

i have a few questions i am sure others would like to know also.

1. about your 3 screen + 1 touchscreen setup, can you give us some technical info, as in video hardware in the pc, and software used if any other than windows display options.

i am guessing its using 2 videocards in non-sli configuration with all 4 videocard outputs in use.

2. does black shark beta currently support native multi monitor support, as we have seen with fsx (sorry to compare), or is it some sort of Urze magic.

can you explain the setup process, is it in game options to set multi monitors, or are you convincing the game its all one big screen somehow?

from my experience so far with similar equipment, i know that FC with the triplehead2go is great, using touch-buddy on the touchscreens is amazing.

this creation of yours has taken things to a new level again,

well done mate, most inspiring and it makes me green with envy.

now with the availability of 3 way sli, i wonder if its possible to run all six

videocard outputs to 6 monitors making the bottom 3 touch screen.

or alternatively 1x triplehead2go above and 3 other touchscreens below.

making a 3x2 configuration, lets hope so.

from my questions i hope its obvious you have me somewhat excited about this sim again with such interesting possibilities being demonstrated,

all the best and thanks for sharing with us.

and just between you and me, when is this sim released :),

i now need a copy after watching your vids,

thanks also for your efforts making them, best in game footage i have seen yet.

looking forward to your reply, ggg.

Hi, (sorry for the delay)

1. system:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 @ 3.3 GHz (stable)

2 gig

Asus P5N-E SLI Motherbord

GeForce 8800GT PCI-E (primary) -Both middle screens in span mode

GeForce 7600GT PCI-E - Left screen

GeForce 6200 PCI (no Express!) -right screen

To give you a overview what I have done please follow this link:

http://www.kegetys.net/forum/index.php?topic=182.0

and this:

http://www.kegetys.net/SoftTH/

(Matrox Triplehead2GO does not support this kind of setup up to now.)

2.

Sorry but I could not answer your question up to now.

And if I would try - It would fill pages :)

...And yes there is also 'some sort of Urze magic' to get the turned side monitors working that they show only the upper half of the rendered image -SoftTH and Windows normally don't support turned monitors in span mode!

(I will do a little narrated documentation on the LLTM about the setup - just be a little patient with me.)

One thing you should know:

My system like you have seen it in the 'Blackshark LLTM Preview' is running in a mode that supports 6 (!) monitors already but the fact is that I didn't found the time to add another pair for the lower right and left side.

.. Jumping up and down in anticipation...

I am green of envy.. That setup is just amazing.!

I see future nights being spent dreaming of Touchscreens and VGA extensions... c",)

thanks Urze for the reply and the links, and i am sorry for my needing info, we know you have been or are busy with the lltm.

so its a combination of the softTH and Urze magic.

thats good enough for me

i have no personal experience with the softTH only the th2go

but this could be about to change, never thought i would need it.

i do wonder how it convinces the pc to render more than the primary monitor, but i guess thats what softTH is all about?

the news you give about 6 monitor support is really great.

i have six monitors, although not all the same size,

3x19 and 3x17, so for testing i am good to go.

1x th2go and plenty of aging hardware looking for something to do.

now i am wondering if 2x th2go can span vertical :)

dam it, you have my mind going crazy, thanks.

definitely looking forward to your report on the lltm08 and the rather

lengthy description of how you got all this to work thru the softTH.

and its already good to go for 6 monitors, fantastic.

will read up on the softTH while i wait.

ps: my current system specs are similar to yours.

p5n32e-sli

e6850

2x 8800 ultra

hopefully that will have enough grunt to run all six?

anyway it will be great fun toying around with this idea, i can't wait.

i have a million questions for you and i am sure they will be answered soon enough, once again well done mate, top job.

edit: after following the link to the forum you are a sick man, that is an 18 screen config you have invisaged, i like the way you think :)

so you are thinking the same thing as i am, vertical spanning of multiple th2go, in my case two th2go @ 3840x2048, i like it.

hey Urze, just got my projector back after waranty repair and am trying to setup softTH in non sli with projector on top and 3 screens below.

almost reverse of your setup.

disconnected the th2go and got lockon fc working with softTH on the 3 19" screens no worries, but have yet to manage getting all four screens working in sync.

have been editing the softTH cfg but often lockon just fails to start so i keep trying.

determined to get this working, just need some more time on it.

i got the opinion you had a lot of trial and error also.

the projector @ 1280x720

and the 3 19" monitors are @ 1280x1024

i have tried setting up the projector and the middle screens on vertical span yet no side screens.

any ideas?

the desired effect is similar to my touchbuddy setup below:

LLTM setup

Hi,

my question is similar, I'm thinking on a 22"wide and a 17 or 19" with touch kit below the wide (and, of course, a TrackIR4). How could I manage with different size screens?

THX!
