SCPanda Posted September 23, 2020 Posted September 23, 2020 At the moment when switching to NVGs the pilot helmet remains the JHMCS model instead of seeing the JHMCS removed and NVGs added. Additionally pilots now fly with BNVDs (dual tubes) (model of it is even used by RAZBAM) yet our NVG view is still a monocle instead of a wider FOV/View that BNVDs provide like this: This is a DCS wide issue You are totaly wrong about the FOV. Mono (such as a PVS-14) and dual NVG (such as a PVS-31) should give you both 40 degree FOV. Dual doesn't give you more FOV than mono because both tubes are pointing at the same direction as mono. The only type of NVG that gives you more FOV is Pano. Search "Garand Thumb NVG" on youtube. He explained this perfectly. (start from 4:00)
SCPanda Posted September 23, 2020 Posted September 23, 2020 Also, please do not post picture from escape from tarkov in the ED forum. Honestly, that game is not that realistic as most people think.

Fair enough, I was under the impression that it gave you a bit of a wider FOV (didn't know it was from Tarkov, never actually played that game). I'll remove that part [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
