I've been trying to find a reasonably priced desk mount/s for my TM warthog stick and throttle. Monstertech prices are nuts and Foxx Mounts still isn't taking orders.

Any suggestions for a Canadian purchaser? Would like to keep it in North America for ordering but if the price is right would look at EU.

Thanks

Look for the J-Pein (Upgraded) Mount. It’s on amazon currently for 70 USD each. At this pricepoint it’s really good.

I second this.

I like the J-Pein and would order but currently not available in Canada and if I order from U.Sm which isn't available for a week or two it's still almost $300 with exchange, taxes, duties and shipping. The Monstertech ones for some reason have to do a global order instead of just from the States and it comes to $300 as well.

I'm a amazed that two mounts can cost half the price of what the TM Stick and Throttle cost.

Anyone know anyone else besides Foxxmounts that make their own? If I have to spend $200 or so I'd rather give it to a small business then some big corp that overcharges.

Wow, that is a lot of add-on charges for an Amazon product price of $69.99.

Is a DIY solution also an option? I made my mounts by my self with alu profiles (like Monstertech).

That's always an option.

I did get a message from Foxx at Foxxmounts saying that he hopes the store will be open again in the near future.

Monstertech isn't a big corp, but a small company as well. Monstertech isn't more expensive than Foxxmounts for no reason. Monstertech uses massive 40mm x 80mm Item 40 notch 8 profiles, while Foxxmounts uses only the much smaller (and cheaper) 30mm x 60mm Item 30 notch 8 profiles. Means, Monstertech mounts are more sturdy and way more stable than Foxxmounts. There is a good review, i think it was from Jabbers or Snake eater, were he compares both attached next to each other handfisting the stick. While Foxxmounts is wobbling around, Monstertech stays rock solid in position. You'll get what you'll pay for and quality has it's price. Who buys cheap, buys twice. Plain and simple.

I watched Jabbers video review on the Foxxmounts. I think they will be my go to once the store restocks. I msged Foxx yesterday and he's hoping the store will be up again soon. I checked the website this morning and it looks like he's in the middle of some sort of update.

Definately a good choice. Just sayin' there is a reason why MT is more expensive ;)

Virpil makes desk mounts as well. It’s what I’ve used for about four years now. Center-mounted my stick and the Warthog throttle sits to my left. Excuse the mess in these pics, they’re from my old house right before we moved.

Ya, I looked at Virpil as well but always out of stock

Got the MonsterTech mount for pretty much everything, Winwing, Thrustmaster, Realsimulator, VKB and soon Virpil. The qulaity is outstsanding, it takes literally 5 minutest to set up and when mounted nothing is loose. Check out the size of rhe Winwing Super Taurus and the Brunner CLS-E and they are rock steady. My only issue with MonsterTech is the shipping costs - 30 Euros to the UK from Germany regardless of the item - an extra mouting plate for say 46 Euros incurs a shipping fee of 30 Euros - too much for a simple plate that can go in regular post

Rant over, never been let down by MonsterTech
