giordino Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Hello: How do the HMCS system get information to show? For example, how the system know where other planes are? Because there is no radar or LINK 16 in the plane. Thanks.
dorianR666 Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 (edited) SADL its a datalink, just like link-16. and its already implemented in the old a-10c module. you can see friendly air and ground units on TAD and on TGP. you can even hook on them, so for example TGP follows a friendly convoy. you can also receive coordinates of enemies from JTAC, send coordinates to other a-10cs, forward you SPI and send them text messages. this is all already in the game. the helmet display is the only missing piece. Emmy Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Except right now you can only see human-flown A-10Cs. Only AI Vipers, Hornets, Eagles etc. will show up. I hope we’ll be able to see human-flown allied jets now.
