Fri13 Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Is the LITENING targeting pod thermal generation modeled, so that you can't start it while stationary, and flying at low altitude in normal day you are generating heat that needs to be vented out by either flying above 15 000 ft or turning pod off when the thermal warning is raised? i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K.

Reading things on paper and reality are often not the same. We used to run the pod on the ground all the time. That goes for LITENING and SNIPER too. May doesn’t mean can’t or won’t.
