sublime Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 Both campaign descriptions are nearly identical. Whats the difference? if any? I wanted a campaign or material for the F5... but I had a bad experience with ED in the past buying a campaign that didnt warn you needed the f86 AND MIG15 (even if you only planned to fly the F86) Im not kicking in a dime without confirmation on things.
Sabre-TLA Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 The difference is the engagement model with the bandits. The BFM campaign is one vs one guns only engagements where as the ACM campaign is two vs two engagements with guns and sidewinders. You will need the F-5 module and the NTTR map module but no other plane modules. The missions are done as realistically as possible but they are very similar in execution as they are replicating exercises against different bandit types. We have included campaigns for each of the AI types: Rookie, Ace and Random. So if you find fighting the Ace AI too hard you can start with Rookie. Random can be any AI skill level. You can read a review of the BFM campaign here. MapleFlagMissions - Read Our Blog for Updates
splash Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 Do you plan to include different AI versions in ACM campaign too?
Sabre-TLA Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 Yes we do intend on providing the different mission sets for the different AI versions (rookie, ace and random) and these will be in our upcoming F-15C Aggressors ACM campaign. Likely we will update our existing F-5E Aggressors ACM campaign with a similar set once some of the other campaign work gets completed. MapleFlagMissions - Read Our Blog for Updates
