Hog_driver Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Hello, I don't know it it's a bug or a feature, but I noticed that when starting cold'n'dark, the A-10C (both the "old" and the "new") has its flaps down again. Wasn't it mentioned as a bug? I'm not 100% sure, but I think that before the last patch the flaps were in the up position from the beginning. Now the flaps retract after the 1st engine is started up. Apart from that, the plane standing next to mine has its flaps up.
RogueRunner Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 If there is no hydraulic pressure the flaps will move down, when you start the left engine and the left hyd pressure is enough the flaps will raise if the flaps control switch is in the up position With the price of ammunition these days do not expect a warning shot.
Emmy Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Except that’s not how the Hog works. If they’re up when you park and shut down, they stay up. Been confirmed by pilots and maintainers alike. Hog_driver Posted October 3, 2020 Author Posted October 3, 2020 So it seems it worked as it should for one release and now we're back to pre-Tank Killer state.
