In attempting to egress away from SA-8 after firing mav L I maintain visual with TGP but at some point laser stops firing. Shouldn't it continue firing until TGP gets maskeed by plane?

Lack of Point Track shouldn’t matter. Laser hits where TGP cursor is pointing (but the rest of the system may not see it as SPI)

But the Laser is one window of the pod and the camera is another so depending on orientation, one can be masked while the other may not be.

Oh, OK. I did just notice in my pic TGP doesnt show point track either. I know this happens as you steer away so maybe losing the point track shuts down laser.

It looks like point track is on, but down on the bottom of the TGP screen, it shows "M" next to your laser "L" annunciation, which shows that your laser is masked.

Was hoping mav L would give us some more range vs SAMs but I guess fire and forget nature of others is the better choice then.

Didnt realize that. Thanks.
