AvroLanc Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 It looks like there's a new bug with F/F only datalink contacts. When an AWACS is absent or SURV deselected, no bottom HAFU for F/F radar contacts shows up on the SA/RDR page. Wingmen and donors have said contacts on radar, yet HAFU's don't display. Or they aren't transmitting properly. Please watch first few minutes of track as I play around with SA page F/F and SURV options. ThanksFF Datalink Contacts.trk
AvroLanc Posted October 8, 2020 Author Posted October 8, 2020 Nobody else having problems with Link-16 with no AWACS present?
Martin2487 Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 I tried it with AI wingman. I can confirm that I did not receive the position air target from him via the datalink.
hein22 Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 I didn't even remember what I wrote that was deleted. But certainly this isn't working with the AI unless they are in STT. Stay safe
-NMS- Ikaros Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 also the IFF of the hornet is not working anymore 2 updates before, can anyone confirm?
hein22 Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 also the IFF of the hornet is not working anymore 2 updates before, can anyone confirm? You'll have to be more specific. What do you mean by not working? Fine here. Stay safe

I mean that whenever a contact is unknown (yellow) or ambiguous and i get closer than 20 miles, it stays unkown even if i depress the sensor switch. 2 updates before in RWS mode the IFF interrogation was happening automatically whenever my radar cursor was over a contact and closer than 20 miles.

Yes, the auto iff in ltws was fixed since it was not realistic, so not sure what you are looking for there. It never had to do with distance anyway. Sensor select switch depress works fine for me. Stay safe
