So I was tuning the radio in the RIO seat to 128.500. It changed fine, but when I transmitted, the display showed 128.501 and no one responded.

Anyone know what’s up with that?

It's a bug. You still transmit on the correct frequency. I believe it happens because someone types "128.501" in the mission editor as a preset, but 14 can't actually go on there. You could think of it as a hardware malfunction, but still provides the same purpose. Consider it, vImmersion

OK, thanks. But I also was still getting no response. We finally got a response when my pilot transmitted on the UHF freq on the AN/ARC-159 instead.

I think on a separate time I had a freq tuned in but when I transmitted, it automatically went to guard.

Just been acting weird lately.

That's just a DCS thing. Sometimes, the RIO can transmit to the tanker, AWACS, ground crew, etc. and sometimes the RIO can't. It's a wacky thing. I used to call "ready precontact" for my pilots, but now it doesn't really work.
