Ewt Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Hello all, I have been playing Lock-on again for a month, learned to fly and read instruments on the US jets and even replaced my old saitek with a x52 pro. However I got a problem flying the russian planes. When I fly the f15 it is perfectly stable and it keeps going straigt the way I point it. The Russian planes all tend to climb the more I increase trust, in the SU-27 - and MIG29 its so bad that they make loopings. I already checked my joystick, deadzones etc. I have the problem on both joysticks and even with keyboard only? Anyone got any suggestions?
159th_Viper Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 You need to trim the Russian Birds - only constant trimming ensures level flight. Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? VMFA117_Poko Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 What Viper said. You need to trim all the time - this should be second nature. You'll get used to.
Boberro Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 ... or play on keyboard and you will get automatic trimming on RU planes :) Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ

That key combo actually works better than just pressing H since it will truly level out your plane at the current altitude, not porpoise around trying to hold a certain altitude. This will alleviate many of your trimming problems.
