BuzzU Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 How does this work? I might be losing my internet and I want to know if I can still fly DCS forever? My plan is to just install sims that I can play offline before I lose the internet. My SSD is limited and I can't just install all the sims I have and hope I can play them. Buzz
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted October 25, 2020 ED Team Posted October 25, 2020 Hi Buzz If you are stand alone version and not steam, Make sure you have a connection, then in the main menu at the top you can select to go into offline mode. Once in off line mode you can continue to use your modules as long as you need to. Just bare in mind to update, or use multiplayer you will need to set offline back to online mode again. Hope that helps Forum rules - DCS Crashing? BuzzU Posted October 25, 2020 Author Posted October 25, 2020 Yes, it does. Thank you. I know I won't be able to update. I'll have to pick planes that will be ok as is. P-51, A-10C, and Maybe the F/A-18C. The Hornet needs work but it has a lot of systems that work and will be fun to fly. I'm buying as many campaigns as I can find. Buzz
