I try the laser guide bomb quick mission, and use the GRID Coordinates play it again,i have input the Coordinates and WPSD it to the bomb, and the mark poin on HUD are several feet from the target, the bomb always miss the targets.

Yea as above it shouldn't matter with a laser guided bomb, did you set the laser code on the bomb to the same code as jtac? sounds like you dropped on the coord and not on the laser. The coord get the bomb in the right area and then the laser should guide it to target.

Maybe this is your issue. When JTAC targets a group containing multiple enemy units, he will read out coordinates that describe the approximate location of all members of that group instead of coordinates for one specific enemy. For GBU employment this should not present an issue since the laser will designate one particular unit, but using these coordinates for JDAM is unlikely to result in a hit. To work around it use separate FAC-Assign Group commands for each unit you wish to target.

What is the bomb laser seeker FOV?

If bomb captures the laser too late and it is too off from it, it doesn't help as it doesn't have glide power.

yes iknow how to use the JTAC,the probem is the waypoint that created by GRID is far from target,in AUTO mode the bomb not have enough power and time to adjust to hit the target, but if i fly high enough like 30,000 Feet, the bomb have enough time to adjust,it is OK.

in the mission, the enemy group is usally in a waypoint,so i just need WPSD the waypoint to the weapon, that is OK,but less in fun,in this open beta the GRID function is fantastic,so i try the to creat a waypoint by input the GRID Coordinates from JTAC,but i have tried about 10 times, the waypoint is always far from the target, not to far,but at least several hundred feet. you can try as my describe in the quick start mission, like hornet paveway bomb mission
