Fri13 Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 I find it odd that unlike in hornet, mirrors in Hog are very narrow by their field on view. and as well the mirrors are pointing at odd angeles, like the top mirror doesn't show to rear but almost 25-30 degrees upwards (approximate to see a horizon while climbing in altitude). IMHO the mirrors are pretty much useless as you are seeing top of the wings and then not even backwards, limited seriously by the mirrors FOV. comparing it to cockpit videos, they should have wider field of view and be angled more to show rear hemisphere. kCao2XBKMSU i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K.
norbot Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 + 1. That's why I toggle the mirrors up, when I'm entering the cockpit. They are simply useless.
Nealius Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 It would be great if we could adjust the mirrors. Especially for warbirds, and especially in VR where everyone's seated heights are going to be different.

Especially for warbirds, and especially in VR where everyone's seated heights are going to be different. +1 I've always wanted to be able to adjust the mirrors. Seems like we could left click to fold the mirrors down, right click to fold the mirrors up, and use the scroll wheel (CW/CCW) to 'pivot' the mirrors for adjustment. Side note: I've always wanted to be able to do this with the interior flood lights in the cockpit as well. Nealius Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 +1 on the floodlights. I believe the Harrier has that feature.
