[REPORTED] Fire extinguisher clicks opposite of the engine intended.

Not necessarily a bug exactly but if you intend to extinguish a fire in the right engine, left click actuates the right engine and right click actuates the left engine.

Canopy close is also left click down but seat raise or lower is right click down. It's really confusing when these switches are inconsistent.

Are you referring to the pull handles, or the discharge selector switch?

IIRC the pull handle cuts off fuel to that engine, and also designates where the extinguishing agent will go. The L/R discharge switch does not select an engine, only selects which extinguisher bottle you want to discharge.

The way fire suppression system works is that the you select the suspected engine with the T-Handle. This does a few things, including arming the fire bottles, shutting off fuel, etc. Once you have the T-Handle pulled, you can select either fire bottle, and it will discharge into the engine elected via T-Handle. If the fire does not extinguish, you can then fire the second bottle and it will discharge into the same engine.

If you have a dual engine fire, you need to push the T-Handle back in, and pull the other engine. You can then fire the second bottle into the other engine.

The switch is just bottle one, bottle two and so left/right on the switch has nothing to do with left/right on the airplane. But I agree that it feels wrong from a user interface point of view for a lateral switch to go right on LMB and left on RMB. For that reason alone it should be the other way around (and it was before the update). The same would apply to the rotating MFCD off/night/day knobs, they go CCW on RMB when they used to go CCW on LMB.
