I can't seem to get this working after the latest update.

1. HUD set to night mode (toggle down)

2. SSS right to switch on DMT

3. SSS depress - nothing happens

If i press it again, it brings up the TPOD

So you the steps should be

1. Set HUD to NIGHT

2. SSS Right to bring up FLIR page

3. SSS Dreyfuss ONCE to bring up NAVFLIR

Know and use all the capabilities in your airplane. If you don't, sooner or later, some guy who does use them all will kick your ass.

Let me try that again tonight during a proper night mission. I tried during sunset and it didn't bring up anything on the HUD using the exact steps.

Thanks for the reply

This process doesn't work. Can you try?

It's working BUT it's easy to start in the wrong TDC mode and find yourself making multiple presses before it "takes".

AFAIK it's working as designed and is something I need to get used to / re-learn myself (so your not alone).

So

1. Set HUD mode to NIGHT

2. Make sure you start in INS mode (not TPOD) i.e. SSS forward LONG

3. SSS Right to bring up FLIR page on RH MPCD (perhaps 2 LONG presses to be in White hot)

4. SSS Depress LONG (> 0.8 sec i.e. press and count "1 and 2 and" release) should now toggle NAVFLIR on the HUD

Note - SSS depress DOUBLE tap switches between TPOD and INS but doesn't always seem to work for calling up/toggling the HUD NAVFLIR (as I said, it's something I'm getting used to myself, so can't say it's a bug).

Use Active Pause "LShift+LWin+Pause" when testing to give yourself the time and freedom to test without the fear of crashing, etc.

Tested in Open Beta 2.5.6.57530 using an airspawn.

NOTE: On Open Beta 2.5.6.57959 there are some issues with the navflir.

Aside from that, Thanks for the info! :D

We're struggling to understand how the Harrier handles multiple sensors withouth using a SOI selector like the Viper and the Hornet ...
