rstandi Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 Hi, Came across Victory205's unbelievable Carrier Landing paper. He describes setting up at 15 miles behind the boat, 3000 MSL and flying it on-speed to learn settings and practicing throttle control. Does anyone know how to setup a mission that puts you in these parameters to start? Thanks, rstandi
manashttu Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 Check out Bankler's outstanding Case I practice missions. I expect you could use it for setting up the scenario you describe, and it has a detailed (and addictive) scoring system for the pattern and landing. https://forums.eagle.ru/forum/english/digital-combat-simulator/dcs-f-a-18c-hornet/missions-and-campaigns-af/222472-bankler-s-case-1-recovery-trainer Intel 8700K, delidded at 5.1 ghz, Asrock z370 Extreme4, 32gb DDR4 3200, MSI Ventus RTX 3080, triple 1440p Dell s2716dg screens, VKB Gunfighter Mk.I, Virpil M50-CM2 throttle, MFG Crosswind pedals.
