I've tried everything i can think off . the left ,right and lower DDi are all blurry on both full screen and window screen. if i zoom in they are clear but if i zoom out to a more realistic seating position they become virtually unreadable . i found an older post saying this was an on going problem . i am new to DCS so any help would be appreciated.

it could be merely removing the two folders in SAVED GAMES. these are sort of cached images of bit of the sim. when you start DCS again they will be recreated and there is no harm done.

Press your windows key, write “wordpad”, right click on the appearing “WordPad” icon, select “Run as administrator”, answer the security question with “yes”, open/edit/save the file through this WordPad now.

  • After saving, you have to restart DCS.

  • Do not be afraid to make mistakes, you can always run a DCS repair to revert back to the original file version.

  • Be aware that every update or DCS repair, will revert edited files to their original version.

  • Also, new updates sometimes bring new versions of these files, so do not just blindly copy the old file back after an update.

  • Do not use Notepad, use WordPad.
