Here is my question, In two different online servers, I was completely unable to contact the tankers. each had the tanker in the 250.00 AM radio range. I tune my UHF the the respective freq, and cannot reach the tankers. now I have SRS installed, could that be interfering? can I not use the UHF for AM?

Should be mic switch forward to activate comm for contacting tanker.  Had the correct freq set on the radio?  Do you have easy comms enabled or disabled?  Does the MP server have an easy comm enabled/disabled that is interfering with what you're used to?

AI radio doesn't care about SRS. It helps if you can have someone else on the same freq and confirm they can hear each other's messages. Then it helps if someone else can demonstrate tanker comms on that same freq.

Half the time I have this kind of problem it's because I'm not actually transmitting on the freq I think I am (or not to the recipient) and the other half is because the recipient is broken and doesn't react. Unless you can test for each of these independently you will go crazy trying to figure it out.

But do pay attention to the colors in the text menu. If it's just white then it's normal comms. If it has black and gray text then it's easy comms. Pay attention to make sure you're using the radio you think you are or if in doubt tune both to the same freq. Try to contact other agencies like ATC or AWACS. If AWACS works but tanker doesn't then it's probably not your fault (wrong freq, tanker busted, out of range, whatever).

The Server I was on made going off the colors to determine if I was connected impossible, they were all white as if I was on every frequency at the same time.

To be honestly  I never had Mic switch mapped or used.  Most of the missions or campaigns I flew must have had easy coms active.  That probably was the issue. I will try that this afternoon Thanks.
