ZBoT Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 When deploying a AGM-88C HARM against an SA-10 I'm able to see both BIG BIRD (BB) and CLAM SHELL (CS) in RWR and SP mode of HARM page. When using the TOO page of HARM, CLAM SHELL does not show up but you can clearly see it on the RWR (or if I switch back to SP mode). Is this by design or a bug? See screenshot. Thanks! Joni Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 I think the seeker shows a different aspect view and they are overlapping. Mabye the TOO seeker shows liek the AZ EL page of the attack radar. Thanks for the feedback. The HOTAS RAID button changes between those. But I think that if they are overlapped you won't see which you have selected. I'm not sure. Wroblowaty Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 Try HOTAS HARM/RAID button and than Cage/Uncage to perform hand-off for HARM in TOO mode. After hand-off seeker should show you only selected radar station. Than you can cancel the hand-off and press HARM/RAID again and hand-off again to see if it picked up another station which was overlaping on display. 1
ZBoT Posted December 17, 2020 Author Posted December 17, 2020 Thanks all! I tested this more last night and that was indeed the issue. CS was hidden behind BB perfectly. I had OFFSET the RWR so it would see both apparently. Thanks again for the help! 2 Windows 10 x64 | i5-9600K | ASUS RTX 2080 8GB | 32GB DDR4 3200 | 256GB & 1TB SSD | GIGABYTE Z390 | TM Warthog HOTAS | Virpil WarBRD | Slaw RX Viper v2 | TrackIR 5 | Buddy-Fox A-10C UFC
