gotvista what patch do i get?

hey there guys, installed lockon gold with fc 1.1 on vista now could you please point me to the correct patch and the correct procedure.

 

is there anything more i need to know about running lomac on vista?

Basically install

1.00 original

1.1 FC

and then the 1.12b patch, that's all i needed to run on vista

 

Just be sure you get the cd version of the 1.12b patch

just tried running without the patch, starforce gave an error..hope the patch fixes that.

I run Lock on using Vista, and Im almost sure I needed a patch from the starforce site to get Lockon working as well( TBH its been that long I can't remember), dont be discouraged if it does not run straight away, as most of us vista users had problems getting it to work, anyway hope it all works and welcome, hope to see you in H/L soon.

Patch 1.12b includes an starforce update for Win Vista. Get it on official LockOn website http://www.lockon.ru

ok now all done..it works but flamingcliffs checks the disk everytime? i remember back in lockon days it only did that once a week.

 

it takes anywhere between 1-5mins to check the disk before the game starts:mad:

I was not being sarcastic- I'm sure I read somewhere that if you leave the disk in the tray it will run the check everytime you start despite the fact that it's supposed to be a once/ week check. Remove the disk and that should do it.

This is correct. Leave the CD out of the tray until requested.
