SuperKungFu Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Basically install 1.00 original 1.1 FC and then the 1.12b patch, that's all i needed to run on vista Just be sure you get the cd version of the 1.12b patch get it here http://www.virtual-jabog32.de/index.php?section=downloads&subcat=17&file=724&lang=en&PHPSESSID=3048d90f67bcec582e9e212f1cadc6bd [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
superdunkaroos Posted June 6, 2008 Author Posted June 6, 2008 just tried running without the patch, starforce gave an error..hope the patch fixes that. cant wait to try lockon on my 9600gt :pilotfly: --NiTiN--
flask Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 I run Lock on using Vista, and Im almost sure I needed a patch from the starforce site to get Lockon working as well( TBH its been that long I can't remember), dont be discouraged if it does not run straight away, as most of us vista users had problems getting it to work, anyway hope it all works and welcome, hope to see you in H/L soon.
ViPer_svrd Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Patch 1.12b includes an starforce update for Win Vista. Get it on official LockOn website http://www.lockon.ru [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] отдам тепловоз в хорошие руки.
superdunkaroos Posted June 6, 2008 Author Posted June 6, 2008 k thanx ...downloading it rgt now --NiTiN--
superdunkaroos Posted June 6, 2008 Author Posted June 6, 2008 ok now all done..it works but flamingcliffs checks the disk everytime? i remember back in lockon days it only did that once a week. it takes anywhere between 1-5mins to check the disk before the game starts:mad: --NiTiN--
S77th-konkussion Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Take the disk out of the drive. 1 [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
S77th-konkussion Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 :D LMAO Because I got a couple of "behind the scenes" notes regarding my advice.. I was not being sarcastic- I'm sure I read somewhere that if you leave the disk in the tray it will run the check everytime you start despite the fact that it's supposed to be a once/ week check. Remove the disk and that should do it. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]

Remove the disk and that should do it. This is correct. Leave the CD out of the tray until requested.
