I stumbled on this via Thingiverse.  Having 2 open slots in my case, I figured why not.  A little additional cooling inlet air to complement my existing 200mm fan.  Was a real simple print.  All that was need was a 120mm fan.  I used a Noctua, (naturally).

This bad boy pushes cooling air right into my CPU's Noctua DH-15.  Perfect...  I wasn't having any sort of cooling issues.  Rather, I still thought it would be cool to make use of these open space for those unused slots.

As of now, my 3090FE is running at 40C (in non gaming mode), just surfing and light duty.  (I have the nVidia setting for the GPU set for "prefer max power").

Really enjoying these mods you post.

thanks.  This one was pretty simple to do, and it did add some cooling.  I really like how it ducts right into my DH-15.

Nice !

If I was air cooling I'd likely do the same, cheap & efficient.

Heck, one could split the duct ( in CAD ) to blow cold air over RAM, VRM, GPU and CPU.

Amigo,

you and I are on the same wave length!  I've been thinking how I can duct something towards the NVMe just under the CPU/DH-15.  My RAM and CPU are rock'n just fine temp wise.  Same with my 3090FE.  The stock nVidia cooling for the FE just rock's, but she can dump a bit of heat. That particular NVMe can get a little toasty under 'em.  But I'm gonna figure that out!  🙂
