Easy comms will automatically select which radio it wants, which frequency it wants, and tune based on who you're messaging. The text on the radio menu changes color based on if the current radio frequency already matches (white), doesn't match but can (gray), or is impossible to match (black). Easy comms can be highly dynamic in what it displays and tunes which can be confusing. Airbases can be contacted on several frequencies, e.g. Batumi 4.25, 131, 40.4, 260. The first one is for WWII planes but the other three the F/A-18 can do.

For example if my com1 radio is set in the UHF AM band the menu will show Batumi as "F2. Batumi (260 MHz AM) (Neutral)..." but when I tune it with easy comms it sets the com2 radio (some reason it likes to use com2 and not com1) to 131 MHz (and not the 260 MHz it displayed) and changes the menu to read "F2. Batumi (130 MHz AM) (Neutral)..." as well as all of the other airfields on the list to the VHF AM band frequencies. If I change to any frequency is any band then the menu (when it is left and returned to, it won't refresh until a page is changed) then the easy comms frequencies will match the band that I already have tuned.

So if I set 30.111 MHz FM and then open the easy comms radio menu then all of the displayed entries will show their frequencies for that band. Of course if you talk to Batumi it will change to 131 MHz and not 40.4 MHz FM! The displayed freq in () matches your current band but it still tunes whatever it wants instead.
