Unable to load into any mission, instant action, etc..

I reinstalled the game after a long break of not playing and now it crashes on the loading screen of any mission or action I try to start. Sometimes it gets past the loading and I see the cockpit ingame for a second before the crash. Any help would be appreciated.

Here are four threads dealing with the same kind of crashlog ("DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED"). The OPs all had their issue fixed, according to them. Feel free to read them and try what they have tried:

  1. Cause: faulty PSU
  2. Cause: SSLR enabled
  3. Cause: overclocked GPU
  4. Cause: RAM overclocked
