I can't start DCS I just get "Steam Authorization Failed"

Every time I start DCS, I get an error message saying 'Steam Authorization Failed' followed by a list of every single module DCS has to offer and the message 'The following DLCs are not authorized and will be disabled'.

After pressing OK, the window closes and DCS starts but all I get is a black screen, it is still running and I can get the Steam overlay over it but nothing will change for hours after that.

 

I will attach screenshots to aid with comprehension.

 

I'm sorry if this is not the right place to post, I can't find anywhere else which fits the problem.

Did you download these modules for free trial? If so, try this:

or delete the modules folders in steam if this doesen't work. Had this issue with the Harrier during a free trial in the past.

i have the same problem. I did download the huey to try it out. However when i go to my steam account details and look for the license, it isnt there. There is no license mentioned for dcs having to do with the free trial. How do i uninstall the module?

IIRC "Error code 500" is windows time and date not synchronised.
