dontum Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 (edited) Hi everyone, hope you're all doing very well !!!! It's my first time here. I don't know if it is a bug but since the last DCS update, I cannot pilot the M2000 the same way I used to. I play with a keyboard (no joystic or Hotas yet). When I want to pitch the aircraft, for exemple "pitch up", when I press the keyboard control "pitch up", the aircraft will start to pitch up and will not stop even if I stop pressing the "pitch up" control on the keyboard. Before the update, the aircraft will stop any pitch manoeuver if I stop pressing the "pitch" control on the keyboard. I had to always keep pressing the pitch control on the keyboard to continue to pitch the aircraft. So the M2000 is a lot harder to fly for me since the last update. Edited December 27, 2020 by dontum
dorianR666 Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 (edited) thats accumulative keyboard pitch. its not part of the flight control itself, merely how the game translates keyboard input into cockpit stick input. 15 minutes ago, dontum said: So the M2000 is a lot harder to fly for me since the last update. thats weird. i play on keyboard too and modules WITHOUT this function are entirely uncontrollable on keyboard. this is a massive improvement. its also the same for vast majority of dcs modules. without this function, you cant dogfight or land or do anything really beside flying on straight line. you can always display the input window with rctrl+enter to see where the stick currently is, and act accordingly. Im kinda on the fence about what to do here. Personally I use a HOTAS but Ive got two keyboard players telling me that its right and its wrong. Know and use all the capabilities in your airplane. If you don't, sooner or later, some guy who does use them all will kick your ass. — Dave 'Preacher' Pace, USN.
