I am interested in finding out whether there are any pilots out there that still uses the Rhino X-55 Hotas.

The reason I ask is that DCS World does not recognised my Rhino X-55 Hotas and I cannot afford to upgrade to the logitech X-56.

I am currently working through the issue with support, but I am not having much luck.  Windows 10 recognises its and I can test the it out ok.

Any assistance will be much appreciated.

Im having an similar problem with my X52 it sees all buttons except button 6 (pinkie switch) which is a real pain as I could do with it as a modifier.

Hi.

1 Open Saitek/Logitek Software or profiler.

2 Create a new profile. Use the extended view, so it will be more easy to understand what I will tell.

3 In the top of the three right hand columns, where you see "mode 1 +pinkie etc, delete the box with the X beside of it. Do the same to "mode2+ pinkie" and " mode3 +pinkie".

4 Press the pinkie button so you see the button program window, right click on it. You will see a tick mark on something called "support", or "callback" (mine is in spanish, so I am guessing...). If not, tick it.

4 1/2  Name the profile and load it.

5 Go to DCS, open "options/controls" and press the pinlie. You should have it as a button number 6.

Saludos.

I still use the X55, programmed in DCS it works fine. I can't work out how to use the software to program it though, DCS doesn't seem to see the buttons when I do.
