irfanahmed1979 Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 The replay seems to be broken in my stable Steam Edition of DCS otherwise I could have posted a video. I've seen the old and new tutorials on refueling and still failed. It's rather frustrating. I have managed to hook up the basket a few times but it's all random. I can't do it consistently. Also once hooked up, maintaining formation is difficult for me. I'm using the Logitech Extreme 3D pro. Has anyone had better results with this stick? Also I don't understand when to apply rudder and how much (one of the tutorials mentioned it). Doesn't seem to have any tangible effect on the aircraft's heading. Krez Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 I used the same stick and I could never successfully refuel. I switched to the T16000M stick and throttle and it was much easier. Making constant, small throttle corrections is the key. I couldn't do that with the 3D Pro.

sirPecka Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Don't forget to set your flaps to cruise and for a start just practice formation flying with tanker without trying to refuel. Take your time, get comfortable first and stay calm. The T.16000M is cheap, but quite good, of you're really struggling with your current stick, then go for it. But honestly I couldn't refuel even with my Warthog, until one day it just clicked and since then it's no issue anymore.Sent from my SpyPhone using Tapatalk
