crazyeddie Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 I have been playing around with Weapon Loadouts in the Mission Editor and saving the new loadouts as I went along, different loadout = different name. I now find the sim has made multiple copies of each loadout and saved it under the same name. When I try to delete a specific named loadout it goes through the motions of deleting everything but I am finding that loadout is simply moved to the bottom of the list. I now have several dozen loadouts all the same, and with dozens of new loadouts the list goes on and one for ever !!!!! I cannot find this data in the MeInit file, anyone know where it is stored or how to get rid of it ?
GGTharos Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 MeInitCustom.xml, AFAIK? :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
crazyeddie Posted June 27, 2008 Author Posted June 27, 2008 GGTharos - Tried that, none of the new loadouts are saved in that file.
GGTharos Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Odd, I thought they were. Sorry :( [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
crazyeddie Posted June 27, 2008 Author Posted June 27, 2008 I did find 1 loadout in there, something I did ages ago, so you were right in part. I have LOPE installed, must be something to do with that. Curious problem, I cannot find the files for LOPE now either ?
Highwayman-Ed Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 I'd say that LOPE is your problem. Standard loadouts are only ever in the meinit.xml and the meinitcustom.xml as GGTharos mentioned from what I've seen. Azrayen Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 (edited) Hi Just in case, it's MECustom.xml here, not MeInitCustom.xml ;) I had the same bug as you, crazyeddie, but editing MECustom.xml fixes the issue for me IIRC. Cheers Az' Edited June 28, 2008 by Azrayen
crazyeddie Posted June 28, 2008 Author Posted June 28, 2008 Roger that everyone who responded, I will look at the MeCustom again, I must be overlooking something. Many thanks again.
