Hello,

I'm on stable DCS/2.5.6.59625.

I noticed a huge difference between the normal and the backup altitude indicator. Is it normal and depending on speed, altitude and on the different pitot tubes used for the systems (nose pitot and the one on the vertical fin for backup system)?

At ground they read almost the same, high up there were around 2000 m difference as can be seen in the screenshots below.

At 1350m there were around 150m difference.

Thanks for clarification

That´s correct. The backup instruments does not have any compensation for compressibility or position of the tube. Just intended to  make a emergency descent in clouds.
