Interesting discussion.

 

For me personally, I run two computers: one runs Ubuntu and that's the one I use for important personal and business related stuff, and the other one runs Windows, and the only thing do on that is play DCS and Steam games. There's no personal or business data stored, and I click only on things that pertain to DCS or games I run from Steam. 

 

To me, Windows is a gaming OS, and I treat it as such. On the other hand, Ubuntu (or other Linux distros) I trust a lot more and thus use it for personal and business stuff, and occasionally for the "daring click that I wouldn't dare to click on using Windows". 

 

As a side note, I also have a router that has some built-in malware/virus/intrusion protection that keeps me straight as well (free of charge, as part of the router, and not some premium service you have to pay for monthly as it seems to become more common place).
