I'm about to go on holidays and I will be back at the 16th of august. :( Some of my idea's are to create a new forum, so that we don't get mixed up with older threads of VFAT07. I also would like to give VFAT one center location. In former VFAT events it was quite confusing to people "where to go" to find the information they looked for. I hope Manuel from the Patrouille Suisse Virtuelle can get Interoute as our live stream sponsor again. Since this is the sponsor where real money is involved, I think this should be "the place" to center all communications and information about VFAT. In this way we can thank and make it worthy for Interoute to sponsor VFAT08. No offence ofcourse to Virtual JaBoG because Jabog does a great job in organizing and running this event, aswell as providing the excellent server, I just think that VFAT wouldn't be VFAT without a live stream. Interoute is capable of handeling a huge amount of visitors, which will be required for VFAT08. After seeing the statistics of last year, it wouldn't surprize me to get over 10.000 spectators this year. Just a few things I think need to be worked out (internal) first before starting other discussions. It's already established, but wouldn't hurt to spice up the forums with some custom banner and graphics etc. Archiving older years posts and re-creating the same topics for '08 etc. It's easy as long as some orginizers have admin rights... And about the "Look": I made a thread and asked the users (like last year) to send in some Logo/Banner suggestions. Just an idea, as it's easier to create graphics to fit, than an entire style to fit a banner... I saw the archives... good deal!
