Every time I start DCS World it requires me to reenter the serial number for several of the aircraft in FC3. The SU27, MIG29, F-15 and the A10 all require it. Is this a bug and if so, is there a known cure? I tried to redownload but it wants me to another $49 for it. Any help would  be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Not a bug, this sometimes happen when you are using an FC3-based User Mod aircraft, like older VSN mods. Attach your dcs.log file to make a better diagnosis.

I've been having this issue as well. It started happening for me after the holidays.

It's not the same issue ... your's its most likely caused by a wrong date/time on your PC .. this precludes proper credentials authorization.

Hmm, well my computers date/time is correct, and DCS asks for serial numbers for all FC3 aircraft every start.

Check also that your time zone is correct. Also, look at this:

Thanks,

I turned off the auto time settings and sync'd. Also did a full file verification check on DCS.... still asks for FC3 serial numbers.

😞

OK, if the time & date are correct, and the files are checked, then the only other explanation would be a conflict with one of the many User Mods that you are using ... let's do a quick test:

1) Using Windows, rename the folder C:\Users\JNC\Saved Games\DCS\Mods ... to Mods.bak

2) Try starting DCS again.

If it works, then one of your Mods is conflicting. If it still doesnt work, then I'm out of ideas 🤔

Seems you will have to open a Support Ticket for this issue, it's very strange.

I had FC3 planes installed separately some how, so had to delete them with the module manager.🤷‍♂️

fixed

OK, so you have had this issue for a long time then, since the last free preview of February. I was making suggestion based on the assumption that you did have the licenses for these aircrafts. Glad you sorted it out.
