amalahama Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 According to this: http://en.rian.ru/russia/20080220/99687166.html Russia have bought some Su-35 for his AF. But I don't find other sources about that. Is it true? Are there other sources about this? How many Sukhois have been bought? Regards!!

D-Scythe Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 Unless other sources are around to corroborate this information, I'd take it with a grain of salt. The date of that article goes back to February - surely more people would've heard and reported something about a Su-35 purchase by now if it was true,
Vekkinho Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 Well, it's been known that RuAF is lining up aproximately 60-70 Su-35 airframes to fill the gap until PAK-FA 5th gen fighter goes thru all the testing. It's a temporary solution for RuAF, this 4.5 gen fighter! There's a thread on this: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=31010 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
4c Hajduk Veljko Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 Click on the link below and then click on a video clip on the right hand side. Six minutes in mid-air. The first demonstration flight of the Su-35. RIA Novosti video Su-35 can simultaneously fire at eight targets. With very "competitive" price Su-35 can really be the best choice for many countries air forces.
