With shadows on in the ModelViewer2 I am seeing little squares over the surfaces of the wings and horizontal tail.

Turn shadows off and they disappear.

Anyone know if this is a bug or the cause/cure?

And if they do could they enlighten me please?

This does not happen in the sim.

Cheers.

Hi..

Sure looks like pixelation caused by the viewer renderer which I suspect is a lower quality than used in game, rather than anything to do with the textures.

A sort of preview rendering.

The British, who can afford aluminium better than we can, knock together a beautiful wooden aircraft that every piano factory over there is building, and they give it a speed which they have now increased yet again. What do you make of that? There is nothing the British do not have. They have the geniuses and we have the nincompoops. After the war is over I'm going to buy a British radio set – then at least I'll own something that has always worked.”

I get this in the game sometimes. Not sure what causes it.

Hi...

As per my reply to Previous... It's a rendering issue the Game engine and Model viewer must use the same render engine in that case, any numerous things from in game graphic settings to GPU type can cause this type of artefacts, it's a trade off between quality and render speed in most cases and really only shows up in still images.
