madcat_ Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 (edited) Check previous thread here http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=31021 Things got worse. It all started some weeks ago, a few times, but now it's happening frequently. The track file won't read anything that really happened in the mission. It's happening to every trk I record. If anyone have any knowledge about it, please help. Thanks. Edited July 30, 2008 by madcat_
Azrayen Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Did you retab ? It's a known (and non solved) issue, that tracks are buggy (usually just events misplayed) afther a retab. If that's not the case, I don't know what to say except ask if you ever considered reinstalling LO ? Cheers Az' PS : Why is that "urgent" ?? LO is a game, and this forum is not an official support team with paid employees ;)
madcat_ Posted July 31, 2008 Author Posted July 31, 2008 What's a retab? (PS - I know what's this forum is about. "urgent" was just to enphatize the thread title > I'm in the middle of a movie production and this track bug is a big problem for me)
bandera Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 What's a retab? May be he meant recovery? But I think you don't use recovery when you do a movies. May be the reason in some MODs which you use?
Ironhand Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 This is just a shot in the dark but...did you install any new software or codecs just prior to all this happening? I ask because some codec packs are known to create issues with the sim. Improper track playback will happen from time to time, anyway. But if it's constant, then there is something interfering. (I know that I'm stating the obvious there.) So look for something that you have altered recently on your computer. That might be the source. madcat_ Posted August 2, 2008 Author Posted August 2, 2008 No, nothing new in my system for months. I've noticed that the bug occurs only if there are AIs in the mission - specially more than 2 - so I'm dealing with it now. Thanks for your reply.
Ironhand Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Well, that sucks. As a last resort you might want to save the Starforce registry key (if that's the sim version you have) and reinstall to see if that takes care of it. LawnDart Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Did you retab ? It's a known (and non solved) issue, that tracks are buggy (usually just events misplayed) afther a retab. Could you please explain further? I'm curious about the "known issue" with tracks. Never heard about what it is. Also, when you say "retab", do you mean ALT-TAB and back into the sim? [sigpic]http://www.virtualthunderbirds.com/Signatures/sig_LD.jpg[/sigpic] Virtual Thunderbirds, LLC | Sponsored by Thrustmaster Corsair 750D Case | Corsair RM850i PSU | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS X CODE | 32GB Corsair DDR4 3200 | Intel i7-8086K | Corsair Hydro H100i v2 Cooler | EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW | Oculus Rift | X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty | Samsung SSD 970 EVO 1TB NVMe | Samsung SSD 850 EVO 1TB | WD Caviar Black 2 x 1TB | TM HOTAS Warthog | TM Pendular Rudder | TM MFD Cougar Pack | 40" LG 1080p LED | Win10 |
Laud Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 The only "known issue" about recorded track-files I know is, the inaccuracy of missiles hits or fails. Do the track-files work with the lua-interface? We once noticed that it helps TacView for example to edit the luaconfig and set it to a higher freuquency of data update. Just an idea...
