Benq and sansung make sensational TFT's though I bought a 22" recently because that 2 extra inches basicaly doubles the price of the screen. (not worth yet IMHO).

Response times is no longer the most important factor in the choice (2 or 5ms doesnt make a difference), look for contrast ratio (dynamic and normal) and brightness for your comparisons.

BTW a 9800GX2 is still king of GFX perfomance, and is alot cheaper.

Yeah, Samsung and BenQ are supposed to be good. I was looking at the Samsung 2493HM. It has received really good reviews and is not too expensive compared to some others. Unfortunately, it seems to me that it might be discontinued soon, as it's out of stock at a lot of online stores.

Anyhoo, I think LG are supposed to be quite good aswell.

Thanks for the input so far guys.

Im more into Single GPU cards because of the fps stuttering in some games with SLI / dual gpu solutions.

...as well as for CrossFire with ATI's cards. But there is a switch to turn it off and you will have to do that rather occasionally.

ps, if yu look at the menus on the left of the page, you'll see a selection for "monitor/hdtv". you might find that useful too. Good luck, and let us know what you decide. I'm in the market too, and seek a single card solution.
