shu77 Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 I've been looking for a way to use a joystick button as a modifier without having to result to a second target profile. Ideally CMS Left (Button 18) on the warthog joystick which is currently unused. At the moment the only solution I can see is to run a target profile for the joystick and remap the button to send RALT or something similar, but already having one running for the Throttle is seems silly to run two profile (or to try and pull the joystick into the same virtual device the throttle is on) just to get that button useable. a quick review of forum topics didnt show anything immediately useful so I thought I would throw it out here and see if there were any other suggestions. PhoenixRising Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 You can add a joystick stick button as a modifier in DCS. I am away from my computer to give exact instructions. If my memory serves there is a button called modifiers at the bottom of the bindings screen, where you can add your joystick button as a modifier. 1
shu77 Posted March 4, 2021 Author Posted March 4, 2021 Ah much appreciated I had missed that. makes it much easier to add some of the needed VR functions to the stick without having to give up a hat.
