I'm guessing the reports on the Discord are different than those here? The reports here on the forums are about AI aircraft not going down despite being on fire, engine siezed, and the pilot bailed out. A bit of a different scenario.

Yes there are two possibly related - but different issues. At least.

AI is also used online, and the issues you describe also inform the discussion.
