The AC-130 is for the military ... it would probably be rather boring in terms of an entertainment sim.

Absolutely not, I'd love to fly it.

Helicopters fly.

Let's hope we'll get a Herc module in some time, if it has guns, that's great, if they're 'classified', then no gung, but then we should be able to do tactical air drops, and dump hundreds of flares at once. All that with realistic engine out performance, clickable cockpit and flushable lavs (can I program the advanced s**t model? ;)).

Don't forget the Daisy Cutter and MOAB... BOOOooom...

i cant see a reason why not to have this thing in DCS. it will only add to the overall simulator. If someone thinks that it is too boring to fly, simply dont fly it. However i recon that there might be quite a few people out there who would fly it and in addition to the just mentioned, if ED`s marketing dept is ok, they will use it as USP.

psssss

cheers

There are no plans to include the AC-130 IR sensor operator station in DCS. Among other reasons, we have no permissions to do so from our client.

What's about the technology? Can be the code regarding IR sensor developed in this project used for the entertainment market (A-10C and AH-64)?

Regards!!
