Nealius Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 Just got my Quest 2 and did a quick flight with a USB-A to USB-C 5Gbps cable (Ankler, recommended by Oculus). A few minutes into the flight I got something that looked like the attached screenshot, plus some artifacting on the periphery. This did not appear in the desktop mirror, and I had to reproduce the effect in GIMP to show what I mean. What caues this?
Max Thunder Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Had the same problem with my Quest 2. Problem was related to the Oculus PC Software Update V.25. I rolled back to V24 what fixed the issue. 12700k | 3090 | 64GB DDR4 | WD SN850X | Quest 3
Nealius Posted March 17, 2021 Author Posted March 17, 2021 I upgraded to Beta's v27 and did some OTT tweaking and that seems to have gotten rid of the issue. For now.
markbam Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 On Beta v27 and I am still experiencing this issue. What OTT tweaking worked for you?

I've been running these settings with no issues so far: Default SS 0 Default ASW Auto (though I often disable it with Ctrl+num1) Adaptive GPU scaling On (I run a custom resolution) Link settings: RTX 2070+ preset Bitrate 200
Sh4rk Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 On Oculus v28 and I get that white band sometimes. It's in the bottom of my view though, not at the middle.
Max Thunder Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 V28 PC Software or V28 Quest Build? I had the same problem with V27 PC . V28 Quest and V24 PC now works fine for me without any bugs. Also the USB Speed is back at 2.3Gbit. 12700k | 3090 | 64GB DDR4 | WD SN850X | Quest 3
