Cheap_Trick Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 The day came that I thought would never come. DCS showed me that I needed to invest in my system if I wanted to enjoy their goods and services. So I've ordered a GTX-1060 6Gb card and a 500 watt PS.. I have 24 Gb of DDR-3 ram on the MB....AMD A-10 processor. Need I concern myself with the current ram amount and type atm?

VpR81 Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 One of my friends runs DCS on an old 2600K with 24GB DDR3 RAM and with 1060 6GB at 1080p. He has decent fps and is not suffering any issues with his setup. As far as RAM and GPU goes you should be fine, as long as you're not looking to go with VR. cheers Phanteks EvolvX / Win 11 / i9 12900K / MSI Z690 Carbon / MSI Suprim RTX 3090 / 64GB G.Skill Trident Z DDR5-6000 / 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD / 2TB PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD / 2TB SATA SSD / 1TB SATA SSD / Alphacool Eisbaer Aurora Pro 360 / beQuiet StraightPower 1200W RSEAT S1 / VPC T50 CM2 + 300mm extension + Realsimulator F18 CGRH / VPC WarBRD + TM Warthog grip / WinWing F/A-18 Super Taurus + F-15EX / 4x TM Cougar MFD / Slaw Device RX Viper V3 / HP Reverb G2
