Beirut Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 Hello, I have a few buttons on my mouse that I would like to assign but the game says I'm not allowed. Is there a work around for this? This is also the case for the paddles on the back of my TWCS throttle. Thanks. Some of the planes, but all of the maps!

U should be able to change way the buttons do on the mouse software side as opposed to the dcs side. Assign a keystroke to the mouse button in the mouse software and then assign that keystroke to whatever command in dcs same with the twcs hotas paddles. I don’t have a twcs but it has configuration software that u can use to do the same thing with it. try that. 1

Actually, the mouse did work for the A-10 I think, but not the Harrier, which I fly more. And the paddles on the TWCS didn't work on anything, but the analog joystick on the throttle did work on the A-10 as well. Some of the planes, but all of the maps!
Skwirl865 Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 The mouse works for me as a mouse and the button as left click but ive never tried to map it as an actual button. I know it works for the scroll wheel directions and button cuz I use it for ptt. The button is button32 and each direction is 33 and 34.
