Quest 2 VR?

When I start DCS it also starts both Oculus and Steam VR is this correct? If not. How do I resolve this?

 

It will also not go beyond the DCS logo

 

I've even attempted to start DCS on it's own but it starts both Oculus and Steam VR every time even if they are close and not running.

Personally I ended up uninstalling steam completely. I didn’t have a lot else in there so wasn’t a big issue for me. Running Quest2 straight to DCS works well without steam.

Alright I uninstalled the SteamVR however once I enable the link and start DCS all goes well until the virtual hangar shows up with the aircraft then back to desktop.

Update:

 

I was able to get DCS going in VR. What did I do?

 

1. Start the Oculus software. (headset on but nit connected via link)

 

2. Start DCS (DCS will start in VR)

 

3. Then connect via link using headset.

 

4. In virtual hangar....

Run OTT.

start oculus software. 

library .

DCS.

wait for DCS to load pick up headset and put on  .

choose settings in oculus panel choose link cable . 

DCS cockpit fly .
