VaporFlow Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 MSFFB2 User here... Having problems with trimming in the UH-1H and Mi-8 since 2.7. Works as intended in the Ka-50. The 3 of them are set in "Joystick without springs and FFB".

Works as intended in the Ka-50. TL;DR: I'm using my MSFFB with • Options>Special>[module]>Trimmer Mode= "default" • Options>Misc>Force Feedback = ON (checked) Both Mi-8 and Huey FFB appear to be working normally with my MS FFB2 i.e. hold offset "Force Trim" positions, both in game and with the physical joystick. Tested in Open Beta 2.7.0.4625 Detail: 5 hours ago, VaporFlow said: The 3 of them are set in "Joystick without springs and FFB" IIRC • Trimmer Mode = "Joystick without springs and FFB" ... is for free floating joysticks without either center springs OR Force Feedback i.e. for cockpit builders who perhaps use a full size cyclic with it's own trimmer system/brake. Additional Info : Remember to swap DCS's default force axis to match your MS FFB in • Options>Controls>[module]>SideWinder Force Feedback 2 (tab)>FF Tune ... if you haven't already done so. Detail here Edited April 19, 2021 by Ramsay Add detail about swapping DCS's force axis for MS FFB sticks. 1 2 i9 9900K @4.8GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 11 Pro x64, Odyssey G93SC 5120X1440
VaporFlow Posted April 19, 2021 Author Posted April 19, 2021 You're right, I've set both to default, swap axis and turned off "Invert X axis" (don't know why it was tilt). It's now working fine! Thank you! 1
