Maintaining volumetric clouds with a minimum ceiling of 800 feet is missing the opportunity to create a realistic volumetric fog scenario, as the fog is actually a low cloud. If you notice it, the combination of clouds and fog in DCS creates a graphical conflict. Just a suggestion, let the clouds drop to sea level, even if it's for proof.

it's known issue. a new fog effect is already in development according to ED. it will surely play nicely with the clouds...

Indeed, it was mentioned in the patch notes as a known issue.
